What does this privacy policy cover?

This privacy policy describes the privacy practices of Go-Access-Travel’s websites, as well as our products, online services, and apps that include a link to this policy (we refer to our products, online services, and apps as “applications”). This privacy policy also applies to Go-Access-Travel’s marketing and advertising practices. Please also see the Go-Access-Travel Terms of Use and any additional Terms of Use or Product License Agreements that may apply to the website or application you are using.

What information does Go-Access-Travel collect about me and/or my business?

Go-Access-Travel may collect two types of information: “Personal Information” that identifies you (including your name, company name, email address, or billing information) and “Accessibility Data” (including details of your business’s accessibility and images (photos and/or videos).

 

Go-Access-Travel ID, registration and customer support

When you register to use a Go-Access-Travel website or application, create a Go-Access-Travel ID, or contact us for support or other offerings, Go-Access-Travel collects Personal Information that identifies you. We may also sometimes collect other information that does not identify you, such as your job title or industry. Some of this information is required and other information is optional. To help keep our databases current and to provide you the most relevant content and experiences, we may combine information from you with information from public sources and our trusted partners, in accordance with applicable law. For example, from these sources, we may learn the company size and industry of our business customers.

 

Go-Access-Travel websites and applications

We collect information about how you use our websites and applications, including when you use an application feature that takes you online. We may collect information that your browser or device typically sends to our servers whenever you visit a Go-Access-Travel website, or when a Go-Access-Travel application feature takes you online. For example, your browser or device may tell us your IP address (which may tell applications by using cookies and similar technologies, and our servers may collect similar information when you are logged in to the website or application).

 

For customers, Go-Access-Travel will host information collected from you via questionnaires. The information collected from you will include accessibility information and images (photos and/or videos) (collectively “Accessibility Data”) and some Personal Information (name, contact details phone number and payment processing details).  Go-Access-Travel will store Accessibility Data on its servers and make the accessibility data available to you via API or other reporting formats for loading on to your website or other applications.

Go-Access-Travel product activation and automatic updates

When you activate your Go-Access-Travel product or registration, we collect certain information about your device, the Go-Access-Travel product, and your product version. Some of our products include features that connect to our servers and offer you the ability to install updates to the product. We may keep track of information such as whether the update was successful or not.

 

Go-Access-Travel emails

Emails we send to you may include a web beacon that tells Go-Access-Travel whether you have received or opened the email, or clicked a link within the email. If you do not want us to collect this information from Go-Access-Travel marketing emails, you can opt out of receiving Go-Access-Travel marketing emails.

Go-Access-Travel online advertising

Go-Access-Travel may advertise online in a variety of ways, including displaying Go-Access-Travel ads to you across the Internet on websites and in apps. We collect information about which ads are displayed, which ads are clicked on, and on which web page the ad was displayed.

Buttons, tools, and content from other companies

Go-Access-Travel websites and applications may include buttons, tools, or content that link to other companies’ services (for example, a Facebook “Like” button). We may collect information about your use of these features. In addition, when you see or interact with these buttons, tools, or content, or view a Go-Access-Travel web page containing them, some information from your browser may automatically be sent to the other company. Go-Access-Travel social networking pages and social sign-on services

Go-Access-Travel may have its own pages on many social networking sites (for example, the Go-Access-Travel LinkedIn page). You may also be able to sign into a Go-Access-Travel website or application using a social networking account, such as a Facebook account. We may collect information when you interact with our social networking pages or use these sign-on features.

How does Go-Access-Travel use the information it collects about me?

Go-Access-Travel uses the information we collect about you in a number of ways, such as:

  • Providing you with the Go-Access-Travel websites and applications for which you have registered, as well as any services, support, or information you have requested;

  • Better understanding how our websites and applications are being used so we can improve them;

  • Diagnosing problems in our websites and applications;

  • Tailoring a website, application, or Go-Access-Travel marketing to your likely interests;

Does Go-Access-Travel share my Personal Information?

Go-Access-Travel works with companies that help us run our business. These companies provide services such as delivering customer support, processing credit card payments, and sending emails on our behalf. In some cases, these companies have access to some of your Personal Information in order to provide services to you on our behalf. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

How does Go-Access-Travel use the Accessibility Data you have provided?

Go-Access-Travel uses the information you, as a customer, have provided via the Go-Access-Travel questionnaire to generate reports and/or provide back to you in another format for upload on to your own websites or applications. We may also forward your accessibility data and/or reports to other parties (e.g. tourism accommodation and attraction aggregators including tourism organisations).

By subscribing to Go-Access-Travel services, you as a customer, you permit Go-Access-Travel to:

  • provide your Accessibility Data to third parties (eg aggregators, website managers, tourism organisations) for the purposes of marketing and promoting your business;

  • use an aggregated form of the accessibility data to deliver industry insights and undertake research;

  • use your Accessibility Data in marketing or advertising of Go-Access-Travel (online or offline)

 

Go-Access-Travel may also share your Personal Information:

  • when you agreed to the sharing.

  • within the Go-Access-Travel family of companies for purposes described in this privacy policy.

  • with our resellers and other sales partners if you are a business customer and agreed to receive Go-Access-Travel marketing communications. Note that we do not share Personal Information about consumers with third parties for their own marketing purposes unless the consumer agreed to that sharing.

  • when we are required to provide information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other applicable law or legal process.

  • when we have a good faith belief that the disclosure is necessary to prevent or respond to fraud, defend our websites or applications against attacks, or protect the property and safety of Go-Access-Travel, our customers and users, or the public.

  • if we merge with or are acquired by another company, we sell a Go-Access-Travel website, application, or business unit or all or a substantial portion of our assets are acquired by another company. In those cases, your information will likely be one of the assets that are transferred.

 

We may share or publish aggregate information that doesn’t specifically identify you, such as statistical information about visitors to our websites or statistical information about how customers use our applications and hosted services.

Is my Personal Information displayed anywhere on Go-Access-Travel’s websites or applications?

There are several places on Go-Access-Travel’s websites and applications that allow you to post comments, upload pictures, or submit content for others to see. Sometimes you might be able to limit who can see what you share, but there are some places where what you share can be seen by the general public or other members of the website or application. Please be careful when you share your Personal Information. Do not share anything you wouldn’t want publicly known unless you are sure you are posting it within a website or application that allows you to control who sees what you post. If you choose to share Personal Information or a document, the terms of this privacy policy will not apply to any information shared. Please note that when you post messages on certain user forums on our websites and applications, your email address or name may be included and displayed with your message.

To remove content you have shared on our websites and applications, please use the same website or application feature you used to share the content. If another user invites you to participate in shared viewing, editing, or commenting of content, you may be able to delete your contributions, but usually the user that invited you has full control. Is my Personal Information secure?

We understand that the security of your Personal Information is important. We provide reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security controls to protect your Personal Information. However, despite our efforts, no security controls are 100% effective and Go-Access-Travel cannot ensure or warrant the security of your Personal Information.

Where does Go-Access-Travel store my Personal Information?

Your Personal Information and data files are stored on Go-Access-Travel’s servers and the servers of companies we hire to provide services to us. Your Personal Information may be transferred across national borders because we have servers located worldwide and the companies we hire to help us run our business are located in different countries around the world.

How can I review, update, or delete my Personal Information?

Our websites and applications allow you to edit your Personal Information by accessing the “my account,” “my profile,” or similar feature of the website or application you are using.

If you want to delete your Go-Access-Travel ID account, please email your request to info@goaccess.travel.  Note that we need to retain certain records for legal or internal business reasons and that some of your information may remain on backup systems, in compliance with applicable law.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide you with the websites and applications you are eligible to use with your Go-Access-Travel ID, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations or enforce our agreements.

Will Go-Access-Travel market to me?

The Go-Access-Travel family of companies and companies we hire to help us market our websites and applications on our behalf may use your information to provide you with information and offers related to Go-Access-Travel. We give you choices regarding our marketing practices.

Will this privacy policy change?

Occasionally, we may change or update this privacy policy to allow Go-Access-Travel to use or share your previously collected Personal Information in a materially different way. If we do, the links to the policy on our websites and online services (which are generally found in the footer of the website or online service) will indicate that the policy has been changed or updated before the change or update becomes effective. We encourage you to periodically review the Go-Access-Travel Privacy Policy for the latest information.
